Refund policy

Returns
Our returns policy allows you to return items up to 30 days after purchase. If 30 days have passed since your purchase we will not be able to offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. If for any reason you receive the incorrect item/order please get in contact with us and we will get this sorted for you as quickly as possible.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Cut to length orders, knitting needles and patterns cannot be returned. Patterns are subject to Copyright and therefore are not allowed to be returned for this reason.

If any of the above instructions are ignored and a used, opened or non-returnable item is returned to us we have the right to return this back to you with an admin charge of £3.50. These items will not be returned until this admin fee has been paid.

Return Instructions
To complete your return, please send your items to the address below along with a note of your order number, name and reason for return (a copy of your invoice is also acceptable).

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Please note we can't be held responsible for returned items and we recommend returning items via a Signed For or Tracked service for peace of mind. We can't also be held responsible for items that are returned damaged or missing parts during the return. If this does occur we will work with you to help, however, the customer would have to take this up with the delivery company used.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund (rejections will only be applicable if the returns policy is not followed). Approved refunds will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a 5 working days. Please allow a day or two for these to show up on your statements.

We do not issue refunds for postage (unless we are at fault). A refund will only be made for the total value of the items returned.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
We will always refund the original amount paid for the item at the time of purchase.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective, damaged or received in error. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at contactus@sewprocrafts.co.uk and wait for us to get back to you. 

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Return Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to: SewProCrafts Ltd, Somersham Road, Unit I, Sycamore Farm, Bramford, IP8 4NN, United Kingdom. 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the original shipping will be deducted from your refund. In the case of where the item is faulty we will provide you with a pre-paid shipping label to return the goods to us.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
